It's time to get LUCKY !!! Light Tackle offshore charter fishing in Miami on the "LUCKY VEE"

Now that you've read through the other pages of the website and you'd like to book a charter, there are only a few other questions you might have in mind. How do I book a charter? Is a deposit required? How do I pay for the charter? How many people can go on the charter? Can I go as part of another group? What about a fishing license? What is your cancellation policy? I've gone out numerous times on my own and have had little to no success. Will you teach me how to fish? Can you come on my boat and take me fishing? How much does it cost? Let's answer all of these questions. How Do I Book A Charter? The first thing you have to know, is that I book trips on a first come, first serve basis. The further in advance you book a trip, the more likely you'll get the date or dates that you desire, especially in the January - June time frame. There are several ways to contact me. I'll be notified, immediately, of the message and get back with you just as soon as I can. top of page Is A Deposit Required? Yes, I require a $100 deposit to hold each date you want to book. The check, in the exact amount, should be made out to Captain Gil Gutierrez and in US dollars. When I receive the deposit, I will send you a receipt. top of page How Do I Pay For The Charter? We already know that the deposit is a check. The remainder for the charter is due in cash (US dollars) on the day of the trip. I DO NOTaccept credit cards. top of page How many people can go on the charter? The maximum number of people I can take is four (4). It makes no difference whether they are adults or children. top of page Can I go as part of another group? This is known as a split group, split party, or split charter. I DO NOT arrange them. When you book a charter with me, you are booking my boat for yourself or group of up to four (4) people. top of page What About a Fishing License? All adults are required to have a fishing license. I purchase a license each year that covers everyone who fishes aboard my boat, so it is not necessary for you to purchase a temporary fishing license. top of page What Is Your Cancellation Policy? Weather conditions are the main reason a charter will either be cancelled or postponed to another date. If, based on the Captain's knowledge of local weather conditions, the seas are too high or rough; we will reschedule the charter to another date. If this can't be done, then the deposit will be refunded. If you contact me 2 wweeks in advance to cancel the charter, your deposit will be refunded in full. If you are a "no-show", you will forfeit the deposit. Refunds of a deposit for any other reason will be handled on a case by case basis. top of page I've Gone Out Numerous Times On My Own And Have Had Little To No Success. Will You Teach Me How To Fish? Yes I can, however, it has to be on my boat. Once you've spent the day learning on my boat, you can go out on your own boat and practice what you've learned. top of page Can You Come Out On My Boat And Take Me Fishing? No. Due to liability reasons, my insurance policy will only allow me to take charters out on my boat. top of page How Much Does It Cost? I offer a variety of trips to fit everyone's needs. Evening Bottom Fishing Charters The rate for this type charter is the same rates as the ½, ¾, and full day as listed above. Small Children Introduction to Fishing This type charter is for small children who have little or no experience fishing. We fish for a variety of bottom fish and are more interested in steady action than size or quality of fish. Patience is not a virtue of most small children and steady action will hook them on fishing and have them wanting to come back for more. FULL DAY 8 Hours 7 am - 3 pm	3/4 DAY 6 Hours 7 am - 1 pm	1/2 DAY 4 Hours 7 am - 11 am or 12-noon - 4 pm
December to June is the height of the Miami Tarpon Season. We offer both 4 hour and 6 hour evening Tarpon trips.
December to June is also the height of both the Sailfish and Kingfish Seasons. Lucky Fishing Charters can customize your trip with a half day of Sailfish and Kingfish topped off with a 4 hour evening of Tarpon fishing.
Lucky Fishing Charters has both swordfish fishing charters and or a combination of afternoon of either sailfishing, kingfishing or dolphin fishing finished off with a night of swordfish fishing.
All rates are C.O.D. upon return to the dock. We require a $100 deposit when you book your trip. Looking for a corporate event, or a large group get-together, we can also put together multiple boats for day trips. Call for reservations and rates.
