I'm Captain Gil Gutierrez and welcome to Lucky Fishing Charters. Miami offers what many anglers considered the most prolific fishing grounds in the world. As a Florida native, I grew up fishing, and have spent many years on the waters off Miami and Miami Beach. My experience and "state of the art" tournament rigged 32 ft SeaVee, the "LUCKY VEE" will afford you every opportunity to get "LUCKY". At Lucky Fishing Charters, my fishing plans revolve around you and what you want to fish for. During winter and spring months, we specialize in sailfish, kingfish and tarpon. You can fish a full day, 3/4 day or half day or even split a day and fish the afternoon for sailfish and kingfish and finish off your trip with 4 hours of tarpon fishing. The late spring and summer months usually bring southerly winds and gentler seas, offshore species like dolphin, wahoo and tuna are migrating past Miami and Miami Beach. A day of live bait fishing offshore can be most productive this time of year. Miami also has a tremendous swordfish population, fishing on a balmy night should produce some exciting swordfish fishing action. You may want to consider an afternoon offshore finished off with a drift or two for swordfish.

December to June is the height of the Miami Tarpon Season. We offer both 4 hour and 6 hour evening Tarpon trips.
December to June is also the height of both the Sailfish and Kingfish Seasons. Lucky Fishing Charters can customize your trip with a half day of Sailfish and Kingfish topped off with a 4 hour evening of Tarpon fishing.
Lucky Fishing Charters has both swordfish fishing charters and or a combination of a afternoon of either sailfishing, kingfishing or dolphin fishing finished off with a night of swordfish fishing.
